Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on different types of floors. Select models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, set schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However it was a bit difficult traversing the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rugs.
The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. robot vacuum cleaner uk requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an effective solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction and offers many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.
This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and filled whenever needed. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it can be stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent, with a pair spinning mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that moves out to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.
Its navigation is smart it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can go from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a large margin over obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. However, you will require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of picking up debris and dirt however, it's not able to reach every last particle of dust. It's essential to clean your home regularly, once a week. This is especially true for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to do exactly that. It is simple to connect it to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by eliminating mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floor. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also features a smart app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings, and an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested did not show issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. Best robot vacuum uk uses a unique system to map your home. This allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also collects dust in a larger dustbin that means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters that further lower the cost of using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app also lets you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid and is a great feature.
