Its only minor issue is that it can hit objects and walls at full speed - but just a glance at the history of cleaning within the app will show you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed, and which obstacles it's run into or avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station tells you when maintenance tasks need to be done including emptying the debris tray, and cleaning the dirty water tank. It's also capable of mixing detergent automatically into the water tank, by using a 600ml bottle filled with the eufy's solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time as well, with the mop being able to operate for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, while the vacuum is can last for 136 minutes in normal mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to replenish. And you can see the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and is easy to comprehend, though we would have liked to be able distinguish between a vacuum and a vacuum/mop clean when examining a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's most popular robot mop and vacuum. It is able to change its course automatically and clean the objects, without missing a step.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also the most loaded with features. Its sleek angular design is striking and comes with three physical buttons. The power button, which resumes the cleaning, a mop button that doubles as a child-lock, and a home-button to bring the robot to its dock. The only downside I've discovered with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. I've observed that any carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number smart features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these via the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and track the battery's life. However, you'll have to go through a few hurdles to enable voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the performance of this model.
